 Raw Nutrition offers the Pump N Seal Food Sealer. It is a very practical pump which allows you to vacuum seal your foods to preserve them naturally. It’s compact and completely portable and does not need batteries or electricity or special costly bags. You can use it for vacuum sealing jars and any zipper-locking bags. The jars need to have a lid that can be punched as a small hole will be to be punched into it and then a Tab-Chek applied. Once the Tab-Cheks are applied, they are reusable for as long as they are stuck on the jar lid. You can permanently seal many food storage containers such as ordinary jars, mason jars, wine bottles and even coffee cups. With this vacuum sealer you can preserve the freshness of nuts, seeds, grains, snacks, dried herbs and spices, fruits, vegetables, meats, and more. To seal jars all you need to do is: 1. Punch a hole in the jar lid. 2. Apply a Tab-Chek over hole. 3. Position Pump-N-Seal. 4. Pump and remove. To seal bags: 1. Insert bag adapter into the bag. 2. Pump a few strokes. 3. Remove adapter and zip. A few tips on sealing bags. Make sure most of the zipper is already closed when inserting the bag adapter. When removing the adapter and zipping the bag, do it very quickly so that air does not enter into the bag.
